FASTENAL TAPS RACERSITES.COM TO REDESIGN ITS FAN SITE FOR NATIONWIDE SERIES DEBUT

WINONA, Minn. (March 1, 2008) – To support its NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) debut in 2008, Fastenal Racing has teamed up with RACERSITES.COM to redesign its fan web site (www.fastenalracing.com). The newly launched site provides a comprehensive, photo-rich environment for racing fans to follow the No. 40 Fastenal Dodge and driver Dario Franchitti throughout the 2008 race season.

"Having teamed up with Chip Ganassi with Felix Sabates in the NNS following two years in the [NCTS] truck series, this is an exciting time for our racing program," said Fastenal VP, Marketing Pat Resch. "As part of a world-class racing team, with a world-class driver, we felt we really needed to take our web site to another level for the 2008 season. RACERSITES proved to be the perfect partner to make that happen."

The new fastenalracing.com features late-breaking No. 40 news, a journal by crew chief Brad Parrott, in-depth profiles of the program’s pit crew and drivers (Reed Sorenson, Bryan Clauson, Scott Pruett and Kevin Hamlin, in addition to Franchitti), and detailed race previews and results. The site also includes extensive photo galleries, a close-up look at the No. 40 car and transporter, and free fan downloads.
