RACERSITES.COM and Lindsey Adams Racing Launch Ground-Breaking Site
August 22, 2007
In the past year Lindsey Adams has competed in Formula BMW USA and Skip Barber racing series. The Dallas, Texan is also a spokesperson for the National Breast Cancer Foundation and began a program this past year called Survivors’ Circle. With the new task of working for the foundation and raising awareness for breast cancer it was only fitting to launch a new website with RACERSITES.COM.
"We needed our website to be more than just the average racing site. We are using this as a platform to generate awareness for cancer and be a portal of information for the cause. The partnership with RACERSITES.COM was a great fit because they understand the importance of making a difference. I am extremely grateful for how hard they worked and respect their ability to see the vision that we wanted to illustrate through a website." –Lindsey Adams
Though Lindsey’s partnership with the National Breast Cancer Foundation only started in 2007, her interest in working for cancer awareness began in the summer of 2005 when Lindsey’s mother, Debbie, a breast cancer survivor, had a second bad mammogram in two years and decided to move forward with a complete second mastectomy. As Lindsey watched her mother’s courage in making decisions that would change her life, and hopefully extend it, Lindsey began to think about what she could do to make a difference in this fight against cancer. It didn’t take very long for her to commit to raising awareness for this disease. Lindsey began racing for early detection, early reaction, and along the way, hopefully be part of those that celebrate finding a cure.
Lindsey teamed up with RACERSITES.COM in order to build a stronger marketing and communication tool. "This was a special project for us", commented Kevin Hofer, Director of Client Operations for RACERSITES.COM, "just about everyone these days is touched by cancer in some way. And we are proud to be affiliated with a young driver who is so enthusiastic about supporting such a worthy cause. The hope is that by increasing the overall profile of Lindsey’s web presence, we can get her message of awareness out to a much wider audience. We look forward to a long partnership with Lindsey as her racing career progresses."
Lindsey will be back in action next weekend at Mid Ohio Sports Car Course with the Skip Barber Midwestern Regional series. Follow Lindsey by means of the new www.lindseyadamsracing.com on her journey to finding a cure and making her way in the racing world.
